HELLO FROM THIS SIDE OF THE SCREEN

A curious mind.
An open notebook.

A small cabin beside a Norwegian fjord, with a path leading into the hills
SPACE TO THINK. ROOM TO BEGIN.

I'M ROGER. GOOD TO HAVE YOU HERE.

A small space for
things that matter.

I started Fieldnotes with a simple idea: make something, put it out into the world, and see where it leads.

This isn't a finished collection of answers. It's an open notebook for the questions, experiments, and little discoveries that happen along the way.

You'll find notes on building things for the web, paying attention to design, and learning by doing. Some will be practical. Others will just be things worth writing down.

The best way to figure something out is often to start.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you find something here that sparks an idea of your own.

01 / BUILD

Start somewhere.

A small idea that exists beats a perfect one that doesn't. Make a first version and let it grow.

02 / NOTICE

Pay attention.

The most interesting details are often the quiet ones. Leave a little room to look closer.

03 / SHARE

Leave a note.

Write down what you learn. It might help someone else find their own way forward.
